I have been practising sketching faces on note paper, so I am going to put them all on this page as a kind of a reference for myself on how to do a few different ones.. Some I liked some hmm they need some work and know they will all look a lot better with some color.. I know I will get better with some practice. I just keep sketching them when I see something interesting.. I found some new bright containers ones this size are always handy on my desk.. Did another few journal pages in my book I am having a lot of fun with paint at the moment.. I have a few things that I have to post up on my blog they are not quite finished, when I get them all finished I will post it up.. Feel like everything is only half done at the moment..
I have been busy knitting with huge no 10 mm needles.. My daughter saw the pattern for this cape and asked me to make it for her.. It has no sleeves in it and it is quite long. I love the variegated color of the wool and its been so fast to knit. I have finished the two fronts and this is the back..
Its no 205 this week for WOYWW . Julia from Stamping ground gets us all together every Wednesday to have a look at desks from all over the world.. Grab a cuppa and take a browse..
Have a great day
Sandy :)
I know what you mean with things being half done I think I am at that stage too. Wow you sure can knit fast love the color of the wool, you must take pickies when finished.

Hi Sandy
ReplyDeleteyou have a great looking desk there and what a good idea to put all the faces in the book for ref. I would have said to myself don't like that so it has to go but as you say by keeping them it help you grow with your drawing, which I think you do a fab job at
Thanks for sharing your desk today, Happy WOYWW hope you have a great week

I wish I could draw. I need to practice sketching. Dina Wakely had me doing birds in her class and had a fab time. Thanks for inspiring me! Your knitting is lovely, love the yarn you are using (such great colors!). Wish I had a low window that looked out, what a great view to stamp by! Thanks for the kind visit! Winnie#75

ReplyDeleteWhat a lot going on in your world. I gave up on knitting way back when. However, I have rediscovered sewing so maybe knitting will be next?
