Muse Challenge #5

I am really enjoying playing along at the Muse card club. This weeks muse is Marion Vagg.. I really like the striped background effect across Marion's card and knew I had the perfect paper for me to use as soon as I saw it..  I so like stripes and really like the 6 x 6 paper pack from Kaisercraft, the Le chateau Collection so pretty..   I stamped up the birdcage and bird from the Aviary set from Stampin'up, fussy cut and backed it in that lovely slate color I am fond of at the moment..  Happy Birthday words are from Kaszazz..

So here is my card...

Muse Challenge #3

I wanted to play along again with the new challenge over at Muse Card Club this week. The muse card done by Laurie Willison at Soap box creations was lovely really liked the 2 panels of the background it really caught my eye..  I really liked the patterned paper of the panels too, so thought I would make some patterned paper of my own.. So I stamped away with the Stampin'up Fresh Vintage stamp and came up with my own version.  The ribbon was dug out of my stash, always good to use something you have had for ages..

So here is my card....

Muse Challenge #2

I wanted to play along with the new challenge over at Muse Card Club this week. The muse card done by Suzanne Dahlberg of The card yard it had me intrigued with its funky top cut and bright colors..

Suzanne Dahlberg
I used my creative cutting system oval shapes to get the top and it worked really well.  Suzanne has a great tutorial on her blog showing how to do the top cut with the bigshot and nesting dies.   I loved the flowers and the bright colors that Suzanne used.  I knew I had this pretty bright floral paper so I just went with that..  I found the ribbon in my stash and liked the pretty flower on it so popped that on.  I found this a fun card to make and would definitely do this shape of card again..

I would like to welcome a new follower today Mary.  Hope you enjoy having a peek around my little blog of cards..

Have a great day
Sandy :)
