This week on my desk is the... wait for it. The finished stationary box woot. It took a bit longer than I thought it would, but gee I really enjoyed doing it. I can see me making another one later on. Its a great gift idea, you can see more pictures in a previous post Here. The card on my desk is another to add to the man stash of cards filling the teen boy category. I just need some baby cards now, that stash is empty. So that will be something that I will have to rectify.
So here is my desk.....
Have a great day
Sandy :)
I really like your stationery box.Love those crisp clean colours.

Waitaminnit! Didn't the coffee mug tree used to have something else on it besides rolls of tape and whatever those other circular things are? Sorry, I got distracted by that when the real beauty is that stationary box! It is so gorgeous! And I love the colors. I know weirdos here that insist green and purple do not go together ever. Shows what they know, I know it is a beautiful color combo. Love the man card too.
ReplyDeleteI did a workshop the other day and my card idea came from a baby card but I changed it around to make it a Happy Birthday one. I don't have much use for baby cards these days but I have a few baby things for when needed. I'm sure you'll make some great ones!
What a genius use for a mug tree. I bet I can find one at a charity shop and then charity and I will be happier! I love the colours of your stationery box; unexpected but so right.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by. I just wish what I was working on had been a bird. Instead it's turned out to be a big fat mess. Ah well, I can always try again.
cheers, rachel #7

That stationery box is absolutely gorgeous, Sandy. I made one for my mum for Christmas a couple of years ago and it was great fun to do. It was so lovely watching her lift the lid, and all was revealed - she was very surprised! I filled it with all sorts of goodies. (It's all on my blog if you can be bothered to find it. Lol!)
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

ReplyDeleteHey Sandy, happy belated woyww, it takes such a bit of time now getting around to everyone's desks but I finally got to yours a couple days ago and made a note to re-visit to hop onto the link at Splitcoast for the stationery box. Yours is fabulous, love the colours and stamp design etc.
ReplyDeleteThis is my kind of project, definitely going to make one of these - hope people still use note cards lol.
I can see your little owls peeping out too.
Cheers and thanks for sharing the link.

Love your blog! thanks for visiting mine.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite colour combinations for the box, lime green and purple! I was all set to do this at a weekend workshop myself a while ago but then it got cancelled but I do think your colour combo is much nicer than mine.
