I really liked the sketch at I Spy Sketches this week I hummmed and harrrrrrrd and then turned to my favourite colors for inspiration. I seem to do that when I'm stuck on a sketch. So its Razzleberry and Old Olive to the rescue of this sketch for me. It was good too as I just used scrap pieces to do the circles. I ran it through the bigshot and embossed the lot with the dot embossing folder. Then buttons oh yea I had bought the little embosslit Sweet Buttons that I hadn't used.
So here is my card......
It is my pleasure to welcome a new follower today Victoria. So hope you enjoy touring around my blog and find something to inspire or maybe join in on one of the many challenges I enter.

Hello! *waves back*
ReplyDeleteLove these bold colours together and they look great embossed like this. Love those buttons too :) Have a good day!
Oooh, so pretty! Lovely pattern paper and love the smaller circles. Great job on the sketch. TFs
ReplyDeleteI love this card! I find multiple circles way too hard to work with. I have done the circles on a page, run the whole lot through the embossing folder bit before. It is a fun effect. I like the faux buttons too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful use of the sketch! Love the colors and dot embossing! Thanks for playing at I Spy!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! They are go to colors for me, too. Well, really, old olive and anything else looks good to me! I love how you used the snippets and the choice of patterns!!
