WOYWW #154
I am making a football themed card for a friends 50th birthday so looked up some origami shirt folding here is a link its in 3D so it was easy to follow, you can pause and rewind the video. It was fun to do just have to a dark blue v on the front bottom half of it for the Melbourne football club.
Hi all look at all my delicious paper I have on my desk 120 sheets of 12x12 assorted paper from Kaisercraft. Love all the browns they are my favorite. I am going to have some fun with all of that. The colors and the assortment of papers is just gorgeous. You get 2 of each sheet in the 60 page paper packs. Friend and I went halves and we got 4 packs and split it.
So if you are wondering why I am showing my desk off you will have to head over to Julias stamping ground and have a look at the worlds biggest desk hop. Warning though if you join in it is very addictive. Hope to see you there.
Have a great day
Sandy :)
You have a TON of paper now. What a lot of beautiful colors. Lucky you had someone who shares the same craft. I made a shirt from a dollar bill once. The pattern must be the same one.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the sage wands. They are for burning. I'm making (or at least drying) them for friends. Happy WOYWW from #5.

ReplyDeleteThose papers are gorgeous!! I'm sure you had fun just looking through them all!
ReplyDeleteI love making those shirts - bank-notes are the perfect size for making them and at one stage my purse was full of them! It was a bit embarrassing though, going into shops and having to unfold all of my "shirts" at the checkout! lol!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

That is a great idea with the paper-splitting the packs with friend. I love the DCWV stacks but 3 sheets of each design is a bit much. As much paper as I have, I still am jealous of your gorgeous new paper. A girl can never have too much, I say. I love the football card with the origami shirt. I have that shirt, someone folded it up for me out of a dollar bill. I think it is so clever. I might be able to follow a video of it, but I can't figure out origami from reading directions.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of lovely papers for us to see this week! - thanks for sharing,
