WOYWW #215

Well last week I mentioned to someone that I should show my banner of owls that sit over my desk, so here they are.. They are the cutest little things hey and fit so perfect over my window here.. They where a gift from my sons friend who saw them at a market and thought I would like them. Well I love them they are so cute, so lovely that he thought of me..  Finished the page I was working on in my journal and I also went back to the craft shop that is closing down 50% off everything now.. I got 3 stencils 2 Prima Donna Downey and a Crafters Workshop, some rubons for 50c and a cool stamp set that will be great to use on frills for dresses on collage girls..  I spent ages in there and said to the lady that it will be sad when you close and that I am becoming a regular here every two weeks. She said that some people come twice a day as they are always putting new stuff out on the cheap table and that she had to put blinders on now as there was so many bargains out at the moment.. Imagine working there with all that stuff on sale..

Here is my page so you don't have to squint...

Julia from  WOYWW gets us all together every Wednesday to have a look at desks from all over the world.. Grab a cuppa, I have mine here, and take a browse.. Thanks for taking the time to comment and enjoy the blog hopping around all the desks.

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  1. Great Journal page, so bright and cheery and lucky you getting the owl banner. I was down your way again last weekend and didn't have time to sneeze, I should come down again for another day trip as that shop sounds fantastic, hhmmm have to think about that wont I.

    Happy crafting.

  2. Lovely colourful pages - well done. Mmmm that shop sounds good - too far for me to travel - imagine the cost if you included flying there?
What a lovely friend of your son to buy you something like that. How thoughtful and how lovely it is. Thanks for the show.

  4. Oh I love those owls! It would certainly be a temptation working in the craft store you describe. We have no craft store in my town and the art shop closed. I went looking for the discount art store today and that had gone too! Seems like we're heading towards a world without art supplies on the high street - no choice but to use the Internet! I love the spread you're working on too! Have a great WOYWW! Julie Ann #45

Your journal pages are looking great, can't believe you have a craft shop closing down that is so sad
Have a great day and enjoy the rest of your week with this lovely weather

  9. Awww. so sweet, those owls. How clever to make them a banner - I do LOVE banners but nice to see a change from the ubiquitous triangles every now and again!

    Happy (late) WOYWW!

  10. Happy Belated WOYWW, Sandy! I'm well and truly late this time! I'm glad I got around, though, so I could see your sweet owl banner!! How thoughtful of your son's friend!!

Good job on getting all the bargains to add to your NBUS, but it is sad that another brick and mortar store is closing. I don't think any of them can compete with the online stores.

Thanks for the visit to my place! Enjoy!! Darnell
