Happy, Smile, Laugh, Love.

Knew I wanted to put this sentiment on my next journal page.  I just think this sentiment is such a lovely one.  I got this pretty purple when I went shopping yesterday and could not wait to get it onto a page in my art journal.. I am really loving this journal its my 'Just create' journal.  So to me that means that I am free to muck it up and just do it.. All mistakes are learning curves and just an added touch or a surprise in this journal.. Isn't it great to have that freedom to just go for it and it doesn't matter what comes in the end.  You just never know what you will end up with..
I like the size of this too. Its not too big and really like the horizontal pallet to work on.  Well some dragonflies and a lone butterfly, both made an appearance on this page.. I really like how they look like they are zooming over the flowers.. I also got the crafters workshop hexagon stencil have been looking at this one for a while on all sorts of projects. I decided of all the stencils this is the one I see most used as it has all the sizes of hexagons on the one stencil, bit of a bonus.

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  3. Just a great, Sandy! Love the sentiment AND that rich, royal purple. Both strong points in your art! Sometimes, creating "just for you" is the most fun! I so enjoy your work!

  6. Wow, I love this page. Wonderful job on it, but then again, you always do a wonderful job on your pages. You should do videos showing how to do backgrounds. I struggle with that part.
