WOYWW #178

I have been shopping again and was very good this time only 1 stamp and 1 sticker sheet.. But what an amazing sticker sheet its new from Kaisercraft called Pickled Pear. Those words will be so much fun to use they are all separate typed words just perfect for all sorts of crafty work..  The detail on the butterflies are lovely, so looking forward to using these. The stamp is called Botanical it stamps up with so much detail.  I have started doing a card will post it on my blog on the weekend its for the DT im on so cant show it yet..
So here is my desk....

Very exciting news the owls hatched can you see them looking down at me with there big eyes they are just so cute.  I was lucky to get this as they have been in the nest and you could only just see there heads.  Today when I went there they where and they where all looking at me. There is 2 babies and the mum, they are right in the middle of this photo.. Click on the photo to make it bigger they are just adorable.. I zoomed in as far as I could with the camera, they are very high in the tree..
So here are the owls...

Click to enlarge to see the owls a little better..

Have you joined in at Julia's Stamping ground ??  Well we would all love to come and have a peek at your desk, so come on in and join in on all the fun..

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  18. How exciting to see baby owls hatching, Sandy! You did well to photograph them - it's really hard to do. I love that paper on your desk, it's really pretty, especially the butterflies, and such gorgeous muted colours.

Thanks for your nice comment - I'm so enjoying filling this little book that my hubby found for me. Pop back and see this week's WOYWW and the Remembrance page I'm working on - post about completed page will follow once it's done!

  19. Oh! I'm squealing about the baby owls! Precious! Good shopping this week too--I have kind of gotten in the habit of getting at least one thing each week for my crafty stash, and I think it just spices things up and keeps me motivated. Hope you found the pic of LLJ's pretties she made for me! Hugs and Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #24

  22. That is amazing! We have owls around here, but rarely see them anymore. One year, a pair nested in a hollow tree across the street, but we never did see the babies.

Thank you for sharing the pic!

  30. Oh what lovely paper and stickers Kaiser Craft have and I havent seen this one yet but I dont think I will get to the shops anytime soon. I am stuck a Werribee Mansion until a few days before christmas working everyday filming the bake off. Oh to have time to shop and play I will just have to find some time, the problem is it is so far to travel to work everyday nearly 1.5 to 2 hours.

What an amazing set of eyes peeking out at you, you must have some special magic they don't just pick anyone to be around only the safe and loving people. Take heaps of photos.

    Hugs

  31. Lovely post - like the sticker sheet and the baby owls are so cute. I was fortunate enough to see several real live owls this week at my favourite garden/craft centre. They ranged from huge to tiny and the huge one was such a pet - not at all camera-shy so I now have a great photo to make a scrap page with. Elizabeth, later than ever, x #75
