WOYWW #165

Hi all, hope this Wednesday finds you all up to your elbows in ink, glue, paint, pens, cardstock, paper, lace, ribbon, twine and all other things crafty.  Its time to take a peek at Julia's Stamping Ground to have a look at the desks of wonderfully crafty people from all over the world.
So here is my desk to take a peek at......

Not a lot going on few stamp sets I haven't put away.  Some twine I am having a go at at coloring.  I have wound it up and inked it with the pink pen. I am happy with what this looks like.  I am going to do a blue and a green think its a really cool idea.  Here is a link to the colored Twine  tutorial on how to do your own.  If  you are like me and have trouble matching it to your project, this might be something you might like to try.  I need to buy myself a plastic bottle to wind it on so the ink wipes off better.  I finally got some washi tape to try, mine just says its masking tape though.  Its been on my wish list for a while so will see if I can get it on to a project soon.
My Santa spinning card is there I make him spin every now and again just because I can. I made my first ever youtube video goes for a whole 15 seconds.  Press play to take a peek, there is more info Here about this card.  I have added a little black belt and silver buckle onto him now it was after I made the video.

Well that's it for me today, I'm off to peek at some desks.
Have a great day
Sandy :)

  9. Great idea for the twine, love how the jar still has it's contents in it! Someone is in for a shock when they get it out of the pantry to use!! The oil at the track was very, very messy and we worked lunch break and also afternoon worker break to get it cleaned up on the Saturday! We went through 27 40lb bags of oil dry, had to restock in order to be ready to race again on Sunday!

  18. Great twine tutorial. I was thinking the other day that I wished I had black and orange bakers twine. Well, now I can see that I can make my own! What a brilliant idea. I have to admit that I was quite excited about the jar of salsa on your desk. I thought we were going to be having some chips and salsa. Mmm!
