I Spy Sketches #25

Hi all, well today I am doing a sketch for I Spy Sketches  challenge.  Another cute sketch, this one is designed by Elzbieta B. 
 I was going to draw lines for the kites and tried the design on a scrap of paper with drawn black lines and didn't like it.   I then went to my trusty string, it was a bit tricky to get the string on, but I think it gives a much better look.  To get the string on I first cut it all to 1 length then tied it in a knot.  Then I lined all the string flat on the card and attached it under the kites, cutting it to the length I wanted as I went.  I hope this helps if you give it a try.  All the colors of the kites are the  2011, 2012 in colors from Stampin'up.

    Hi Sandy, such a different cute card......I think you must also like owls?

    I love it! The owl is having a whale of a time flying all these kites! I'm not copying honestly but I have a card made for posting on my blog later this week/early next week that looks scarily like this. Great minds think alike!
    Btw, I love that you live in Victoria!! Must be a great place! :)

    Oh the string is perfect! I think it really adds so much more than inked lines...I LOVE IT!! That sentiment is just wonderful as well. Awesome card Sandy :)
