I have a bit more of a vertical photo of my desk today.. Can you see my WOYWW badge? I have been having a bit of fun the last week or so mucking around in mixed media. But still have done 2 cards for challenges in the last few days they have been fun to do.. Need a few get well cards for my stash as have none of those, went to grab one and didn't have any. I then started looking at what I didn't have.. No baby, no get well and no sympathy cards, even need a couple more for the guys.. Hmm will have to rectify that.. What is missing from your stash of cards??
Lots of people have been commenting on my owl on my desk, he is a cutie, think he needs a name any ideas??. He is very heavy and comes in handy when you need a weight to hold something down.
|Here is the card on my desk so you don't have to squint..|

I definitely need some sympathy cards, but am ernestly trying to use up all the cards I have in my shoe box. Have got it down to one rather than 2 boxes now but some of the cards need updating really. Oh and I'd call him Hooty. Happy WOYWW BJ#4ReplyDelete

Great card . I am missing a lot out of my stash of cards. I too need to rectify that. Happy WOYWW!ReplyDelete
great looking desk and nice card! I don't have much in the way of cards in my stash at all! I gave all my cards...by accident to a friend who does Cards for Troops and a couple weeks later went to get a card out and realized I had given her the whole lot not just the ones I intended to give her! Oh well went to a good cause. Thanks for sharing and have a great week! Vickie #28ReplyDelete
Great card....it's always amazing when you look in a big ole' box of cards and find you actually don't have one for every occasion. Good for you for fixing this in your card library.
Love that you have your WOYWW button front and center. It's a good thing Julia does for us every week....hope you have a good one!

Happy WOYWW. Your desk looks so interesting. I love the owl (would call him Harold) and those little bright coloured 'tubs' are brilliant. I only have a few general birthday cards, some Easter, Halloween and Christmas cards in my drawer. Keep saying I will get more made, but then run out of time! Ali x #40 (with candy)ReplyDelete
Your desk looks great - and slightly easier to photograph at your angle than I chose! Have a good day. helen, 5ReplyDelete

Interesting desk and I like your card - nice colours and mix of patterns. Sympathy cards - I never have one when needed. In fact, my list doesn't differ from yours so I guess I'll be filling in the gaps over the next week or two. Have a happy WOYWW. Elizabeth x #58ReplyDelete

Love your card...That bird in the birdcage is lovely! The design papaer you chose is great with this image.ReplyDelete
I am sorking on finished stash cards too. I was so devoid of kids cards that I have resorted to doing 3 or 4 similar, quick and easy childre'ns cards. Have some on my desk today and now need to make a few generic "hello" cards and some baby girl ones too. I seem to be ahead in the selections of baby boy cards so time to get out the pink and lace!
love your desk and your wee owl is gorgeous!! Happy WOYWW!!ReplyDelete
Love the card. Hmmmm - name for the owl - Dexter. Don't know why - it just came to mind. April #128ReplyDelete
Oops - I'm really #130ReplyDelete
i'm dropping by to say hi! congrats on being number 1! lovely card and yes, your owl is a cutie!ReplyDelete
How'dya know I was squinting?! Beautiful card, Sandy. I need to work on those kinds of cards for my stash, too. I'll have to think on the owl name. He is really, really round. If it's a "she," I like Pearl; that's really round ...ReplyDelete
Have a great week if I don't see you before and thank for your earlier visit to me! Darnell #48
I have sympathy and get well cards but very few 'male' cards in my basket so I need to catch up on them. Your card is lovely. xReplyDelete
