What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday

Well another Wednesday is here again and we all know what that means its time to check out Julia's  Stamping Ground for WOYWW for the peek at desks all over the world.
Well here is my desk this week, I made a wedding card with an adorable wedding dress image from Digi Darla.  (more info on the card here)
So here is my desk...

I got in such a mess that look at my poor owl he even got stuff on top of him lol...

I was glad the card kind of turned out the way I had pictured it....

Spring is here in my garden anyway, I had to take a picture of the glorious wisteria that is climbing along the side of  my garden shed....

Keeping you up to date with the beetroot as you all said I had to have pics and not just tell you about my garden... I had been having trouble with something eating them so went and got some pet and earthworm friendly slug killer.  I also bought a slug trap that you half fill with beer and they climb in and have a party...  Nearly ready to plant the tomato's, also have some jalapeno hot  peppers that my Hubby and son will love, will make some super hot tomato sauce for them...

I had a lovely surprise when I found that I had been a top 5 pick at Southern girls challenge for my Digi Darla birds in a tree card. (click here for original post). Such lovely comments I have had on my cards, I am so honoured to be chosen for the top 5.

I am also so pleased to welcome 2 new followers today Lorraine and Pauline. So glad that you have decided to follow and hope you enjoy popping in from time to time..
Well that's it from me today.
Have a great day
Sandy :)

  1. Drunken slugs - that would make a great rubber stamp if you think about it.
Spring is such a long way off for us, but I love autumn which is where we are at the moment. Thanks for the wisteria shot, it is lovely.
I have that same paper trimmer as you have, handy to take away with you rather than the big ones I have. Hope the owl did not suffer any glue on his/her head.
Lovely card you have made, what a great image.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. Oh I must confess to being glad that it's fall here in Maryland! I've had enough of the bugs and deer eating my gardens, the heat, the drought, yes I'm ready for the cool of fall and even the cold of winter! Time to focus on being creative inside!!! Love your wedding card it's beautiful!!!

  8. Hi Sandy - I love your card - that stamp is divine! such a contrast to drunken slugs! I don't understand why we don't have giant slugs as they seem to eat as though they are enormous. Not much slug activity over here now the weather is cooling rapidly! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 65

  9. When we were younger and went to a party I would kid my DH about being a drunken slug...didn't know there were such creatures! Love your cards. Looks like spring is coming on strong down there. Love the wisteria bush. Good luck with the tomatoes. I only got a few this year due to heat! Have a great week. Vickie #22

  12. What a waste of good beer, you should drink it not give it to the slugs that live in the ground. I could of said slugs that get around of the 2 legged variety. LOL wink wink know what I mean..... I just love wisterias and have cut mine down because it was killing my fence....

Congrats on winning with the tree card, I went and had a look, see and it is worthy a million time over of the win, I really love it.

    Belated WOYWW greeting
