Challenges 4 Everybody #40 DT

So, for our April challenge at Challenges 4 Everybody (how fast is this going?!) We have 2 combined sponsors The paper nest dolls and Sherri Baldy.
As always its anything goes so get those entries in for a chance to win our randomly drawn Monthly challenge.

I made myself a small journal that I can slot in pages just by punching some holes and threading in.. I like to do some things on separate pages so thought this would work well for me. Its a wooden Kaisercraft journal, this journal is supposed to have 4 wooden dividers but I only used 2 of them thought I can use the other 2 to make another journal with. I used a 6x6 paper pack from Authentique to decorate I stuck them down using Helmars decoupage glue. The flowers and letters are from Tim Holtz die cuts I used the Helmars 450 Quick dry adhesive for the leaves and the Tacky craft glue for the birdcage..
Punched some eyelets to thread ribbon though and decoratively cut the inside edges. Popped some Kaisercraft words on some labels, create, dream and wish. For the inside pages I just backed the lovely paper with white card stock so I have 4 dividing pages inside.

Just popped some leftover strips in here with a clip so I can decorate some pages.

I just left the wooden back plain but used more of the paper to cover.  Its a very simple journal but will work well for me.  I left room on the front to add -15 just in case I use it next year too...
Have a great day
Sandy :)

  4. That is so neat. Thanks for sharing how you did it. That would make a great journal to add to when doing separate pages or also a gift for a new journalist. Thank you
