WOYWW #225

Just doing a bit of doodling on some watercolour flowers in my little journal. I so enjoy this part of it, looks so different once I put all the little outlines and doodles on it.. This is one I painted when I took my little travel kit I made up.. I painted this on the deck of the cabin in the caravan park we stayed in was such a lovely spot to paint. Cuppa sunshine and watercolours bliss..  I received some mail I ordered and have already stamped and painted one of the wonderful Dylusion's Ruby rainbow stamps isn't she cute.. I just have to pop her in my journal or maybe a tag and in my journal.. I will have to work on a pretty background for her.. I also went to the new Kaisercraft store today and topped up on a few more paints and the brickwork 12 x 12 stencil I have had my eye on.. The new store is awesome they have heaps of new paints and now sell watercolour paper, journals, Gesso and moulding pastes all at the one store yay, makes it so much easier.  Looks like they might be putting on some more classes too now of the painting type..

Just to leave you drooling this is a cake I made recently for my daughters birthday just in case you missed my last blog post. I thought I would pop it here for  the WOYWW people as we all like to look at yummy food too, this was really yummy.. 2 layers of brownies and 2 layers of icecream with peppermint crisp and melted chocolate over the top.. Grown up Ice cream cake.. They have all put there order in for this one for Christmas, will be perfect as it gets quite hot here..
Julia from  WOYWW gets us all together every Wednesday to have a look at desks from all over the world.. Grab a cuppa, I have mine here, and take a browse.. Thanks for taking the time to comment and enjoy the blog hopping around all the desks.

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  9. Can't see Ruby but I do like the flowers. That cake looks so yummy - had me drooling, especially as I love chocolate and love Brownies.
Thanks for the link for the unpicker - yep, I thought you did it the first way (wrong one) and so I ripped it. Now will not try to use it like that - just use it the longer way round but the safer way.
Cheers and thanks for the link.

  11. Wow that cake looks wicked! I'm a bit late getting round to desks today, but it's lovely to catch up with you! I haven't done very much journalling for a while, you've really made me yearn to get back to it. If only time would stretch just a little further! Julie Ann xx #35
