This was such a good way to get everything that he likes in one place. I found the stand I have been looking everywhere and found it in one of those $ stores just 2 days ago. Cost a whole $3.50 could not believe how cheep it was and its just the perfect size. The paper pack that I got from Kaisercraft came in so handy there was so many of there papers I used on this. The cog punch is from Stampin up, I layered it up and stuck it together there is about 7 of them all stuck together on there to get the height I wanted. Glossy accent came in handy on the key, lock and the fob watch (he has one just like that).
The wonderful freebie digital image that I received from Nicecrane designs that I used was the steam engine picture in the right bottom corner. I had been looking everywhere for an image like that and this was just the perfect one. He was given a little miniature steam powered engine when he was a child he still has it and it still runs. It has a little boiler with water that you heat up to work it . The Happy Birthday and Celebrate where from Making memories..
I am going to enter this in the following challenges...
Here come the boys Challenge #28 Anything goes
Tuesday throwdown Challenge #99 3D
Top tip tuesday Challenge#77 Dig out the old.. The brad canvas and a few of the papers I had them in my stash for way longer than 6 months.
My tip
When I was doing the patchwork and it had to line up just right for it to look right. I used paper mod podge glue as it would slide around till I got it in just the right spot. Just had to be patient and let it dry so takes a bit more time but I was happy with the finished hard dry result.
Have a great day
Sandy :)
