WOYWW #214

On my desk this week is my journal, I am playing with washi tape.  I finally found some at a reasonable price and snapped them up so had to put some on my journal page.. Hung them all on my mug tree as I can see them all this way.. I also brought gelatos well the cheap kids ones to see what all the fuss is about and yes they are creamy and smooth to use.  The background on my journal page is done with them think they will take a bit of practice till I am happy with the look. I also brought this fantastic alphabet stamp set with upper and lower case lettering so am going to stamp a quote on here somewhere and try them out..  I have been looking for one this size for a while and was very happy when I found this one and it was at a reasonable price.  I found all these items at Kmart for other Australians out there looking for reasonable priced washi and craft supplies.
We have been to that wonderful second hand book store again and this week well I was so excited.. It even had the perfect title The encyclopaedia of Ideas, how awesome is that.. It has over 900 pages and nearly every one has fantastic pictures.  Just a few at the left hand side here. I love the hand and how fantastic is that bird man. I am going to have so much fun using these.. The only thing is hmm to print and copy the pages or to use the book, its a dilemma.  Its an awesome book and know that some of the pages I would want to use more than once..
Julia from  WOYWW gets us all together every Wednesday to have a look at desks from all over the world.. Grab a cuppa, I have mine here, and take a browse.. Thanks for taking the time to comment and enjoy the blog hopping around all the desks.

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  6. Brilliant idea to use the mug tree like that.
As for the book - I would copy a few of the pages before using it and then that way I could have the best of both worlds.
Thanks for visiting me earlier - I have been chatting on the phone so am running late - again!

  8. I love gelatos, but also love the portfolio's (water colour pastel). One day I too will have washi tape, never seen it in any stores near me, mind you we only have 2 craft stores in my town. I know they have it on-line, but would love to actually see and choose some.

    Love your bright page.

  19. How exciting to see all the new things and how brilliant your journal pages are, Sandy! I can tell by your "voice" that you are pleased with your purchases and having fun with your new Washi tapes and Gelatos. That Dictionary of Ideas is incredible! Just think of someone putting that together?! Copies of those pictures would be fabulous in many future journals. Happy Belated WOYWW, have a wonderful week, and thanks for the visit to me!
