What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 169 & DT news

I have been a busy stamper and still have to make 2 more cards before the weekend for special Birthdays.  One is a 21st and the other a 1st birthday card so just don't have those ones in my stash.  I have been crafty shopping too did you see?  Tim Holtz goodies cant wait to use them.  I had bought the butterfly, bird cage and the branch and leaf, then realised I needed the tray to cut them on.  Then when I went  to get it they had sold out so I have been waiting for 4 weeks to get it. I ordered it and they had it sitting there for me but I had not been able to get in to get it.  I am so looking forward to using them all and seeing them on some cards.  I also got a ruler and cutting board so I can do some patch working.   I have been doing some triple time stamping. I did 3 of them and they are sitting at the side, as my friend is coming to pick the wedding one up this afternoon.  Here is a link to these cards if you would like a better look.
So here is my desk.....

I wanted to share with you some BIG news.  I have just found out that I have been accepted as a Design Team member at a new challenge blog

I am very excited and honoured to be included in this new adventure and am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful cards and projects that everyone links up.  The challenge goes for another 4 days yet so there is still time to enter and join in the fun.

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  7. Your cards are really lovely, I had never heard of triple stamping. I love the details, like the twine and buttons and the wedding card is perfect. Great supplies too, it is so fun dreaming about projects to come. Have a nice week. Frances #69

  8. Great TH stash there. I use my Tag die as my base tray. Apparently the base of that is actually a base tray with the tag die stuck in, so when the glue gives way I'll have a base tray too - LOL BJ#35

  19. Sandy, congratulations on making the design team! Your goodies look yummy--and now I understand why in the UK and Australia, my sweet blogger pals are always receiving goodies in the mail--there's no Michaels! Seriously, you all need a Michaels, and they need to open up a fabulous store for you!! Although, it is really fun to get goodies in the mail. Hugs! --Sandy Leigh

  20. You have some good-looking new toys there, Sandy!! Congratulations on being selected for the DT at the new challenge. I went over and checked it out; wish I had known yesterday or the day before ... No worries, I'm soon off for all day today, but maybe I can post another card on Saturday and link up. They are fortunate to have you on the team!

Thanks for coming to visit my WOYWW earlier! Darnell #125

  21. Congratulations on the DT selection! And your desk isn't looking too shabby at all this week, not too shabby at all. :) It looks rather fun, in fact! Are those TH dies the ones that use the magnetic thingy then? I don't have any of that sort yet. But I have his other bird on a limb with a birdcage die and I really like it so I bet you have a lot of fun playing with yours too. :)
Thanks for popping into my blog and leaving me a comment...hope you have a craftabulous weekend! :)

  24. Oh! I just hate that when you buy something to play with and then find out you need another piece before you can play. Boo hiss! But it sounds like you have it now, so let the playing commence! Congrats on making the design team!
