Day 16 Art every day Month

I worked on another of my unfinished backgrounds today. This one was embossed with the Balzar Design Mini bubble doily stencil. Its one of my favourites.  I had also modpodged book paper and some scrap paper in the background and used my hexagon stencil as well.. Outlined some of them in white pen.. Well that was where I had finished till today when I popped some washi tape on, love that chevron red one. Then of course I doodled around the edge for a border.. I stenciled in some turquoise with the Dylusions Diamond border. Then it was a hmm, need a focal point. So I loved doing Ruby Rainbow in watercolour last week so this time I used Ruby's friend as she was so neglected sitting there.. So Love Struck Lucy jumped on the page after getting the watercolour treatment in red and yellow..  Had to put her hearts on as I already had the Quote picked out and cut up on my desk. So this all came together nicely.. Quote for today is "Let the beauty of what you love be what you do".

  4. well, just lost my first comment. Trying again: This really caught my eye on the AEDM board this morning so I had to come over and check it out. Glad I did - thanks for the inspiration! I am starting on GACing some paper to my mom's all vanity for my granddaughter and you have reminded me that I can do so much more than just put the paper up. Thank you! I posted the beginning of that project on AEDM yesterday, and will be posting more later this week - in case you want to see.
