What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #168

Hi all, not a lot going on on my desk.  A box my daughter gave me, hmm thinking about how I am going to change and use it.   So I will be looking around for ideas of how to do it.  Seems a good size will have to think on it a bit.  There is a postcard background I am going to blend some ink on it, and do a bit of paper tearing add a bit of layering and lace.  Its been sitting there a few days now.  At the moment still have a bit going on with hubby so my crafty time is limited.  Think I need to maybe just case a few cards, do something a bit easy, maybe make a few copies of the cards I have made recently.

Have you joined in at Julia's stamping ground yet. You so need to take a peek at the wonderful varied projects that are on display on desks around the world.  Careful though its very addictive.  I am off to look at some desks.
Have a great day
Sandy :)

  2. Hi there Sandy, will be interested in what you come up with for the fab box, I have one just like it in red.
Also do you like your guillotine and would you recommend getting one and what brand is yours please? I have three jolly paper trimmers but thinking about something more heavy duty....

  11. Don't you love decorating boxes? I had one like that which I made into a special birthday box for my little nephew. After I had it all decorated, I glued "boy" things to the lid--marbles, rocks, sea shells, and a little car. He loved it! And it was nice because to get to his present, all he had to do was take the lid off. Happy crafting! --Sandy Leigh

  18. I've always wanted to be a box collector but the only boxes I seem to collect or packing boxes! With being an expat for the last 23 years I've certainly collected a few.
I'll be waiting with interest to see what you come up with for yours! Have fun :D
Thanks for popping over to my place earlier and I apologise for being so late in returning...have a wonderful weekend.

  19. I liked your card to your son I just saw scrolling through - great job and happy 21 to him!! You have your hands full right now, now that hubby doesn't have the use of both of his, so I agree with your thoughts that you just need to take it easy and do some CASEing. Nothing too taxing as you've got enough on your mind already!

Thanks for coming by to visit me earlier! Have a great week! Darnell #136
