WOYWW #222

I have been doing lots of journaling in both my watercolour and my other mixed media journal.. Tried out a few of those new stencils in the background, so just experimenting with the paint and having a bit of fun with colours.. I always try to tell myself that it does not have to work everytime I do something, as I am just learning, and to have patience at this time with my experimenting..  So I just try to just plop it all on and try different things.. I used the edge of a card with this one to make the cool black lines. Got to take some photos of this and do a blogpost so will be doing that next..

Julia from  WOYWW gets us all together every Wednesday to have a look at desks from all over the world.. Grab a cuppa, I have mine here, and take a browse.. Thanks for taking the time to comment and enjoy the blog hopping around all the desks.

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  7. Hi Sandy thank you for popping by. Love your journal pages. The big spots for your inspirational words look fab. Stencils are fun to use. I have just treated myself to some texture paste so I might try that on my next journal page. I don't do them very often but I love the process when I do - just to play!!! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 70

  15. Your pages look great, isn't the light lovely across your desk. I WISH I could believe myself when I decide to just sit and play and never mind the outcome. but it seems that craft time is too precious and so I kinda always need a viable result!

  18. Such a pretty view out your window. So much green! We lack the rain this year so what little green we had is fading fast. You have lots of wonderful thing within reach on your desk. The journal pages are great. I saw the close up of them in the other post.

  20. You may not think it works every time, but I bet there are a few of us who would find beauty and true art in what you have made. And of course, that goes for these journal pages, too. Happy WOYWW (because it's still Wednesday in my world) from #2.

  21. I think that is an excellent idea - one which i fully intend to copy. I am going to get myself a book (probably have one suitable) and play about experimenting with different techniques etc and writing notes about them. That's much better than relying on my head.
Lovely looking journal from what I can see - maybe a closer peek some time?
Hugs and Thanks for visiting me earlier - Neet xx
