WOYWW #217

Hi everyone.. I was absent last Wednesday just didn't get a chance to get a post done..  I think that is the first time I have missed WOYWW for ages.  I have been experimenting with watercolours and having a grand old time doodling. I brought a water colour journal and its been lots of fun.  I have been pencilling the patterns in then colouring with the watercolours and going around it in the black montana paint pen and the signo white pen..  I find it relaxing to just play with all the patterns and am liking all the colours.. I will fill this all in yet with patterns and still have to do the other half so bit to play with here yet. Here is one of my finished ones and there are more on my blog Here

Oh I can leave you with some photo's of my cat Mittens she is playing a cat game on my daughters Ipad She loves the mouse that zooms over the screen..

Action shot on the left and the finished painting on the right you can just kind of make out the mouse on the screen here. She looks so proud of her work and its so funny when she tries to look under the ipad to see if the mouse is under there.. It has a scratch proof cover on it so it does not damage the screen.. She now looks at my iphone to see if that darn mouse is on that one too where before she would not take any notice of the phone.
Julia from  WOYWW gets us all together every Wednesday to have a look at desks from all over the world.. Grab a cuppa, I have mine here, and take a browse.. Thanks for taking the time to comment and enjoy the blog hopping around all the desks.

Have a great day
Sandy :)

  2. Cats can be so funny sometimes, so is the mouse the gider mouse or a fake animal mouse. Yes I am having a blonde day, my brain is fryed and not coping anymore. Hope I made you giggle.

Happy crafting this week and love the journal page, where did you get your montana pen from?

    Happy WOYWW

  4. Wow! A creative cat! My Daisy likes to help me tidy my stash - usually she lends a paw with the ribbons, but so far she has not shown any creative aptitude! I bet she'd love to have a go on that ipad! I love your beautiful art work that opens the blog - gorgeous colours and lovely flowing patterns. Welcome back. Julie Ann #12

  6. How funny is your cat and beautifully creative......I have not seen this game before but I can just imagine as my cat is quite funny in front of my computer screen and has gone what can only be described as psycho when I have had a picture of him or his sister on the screen. The doodles and colors on your journal page are gorgeous and I totally agree about it being relaxing. Happy WOYWW! Danie #25

  17. I love your watercolour doodles, Sandy! The colours are gorgeous. Beautiful work, and it's going to be a lovely book when it's finished.

Mittens is so funny! I've never heard of kitties playing on an ipad before, and so adorable that she's now looking for the game! It's so sweet. Our kitties have got very lazy of late (the hot weather doesn't help) and they definitely need playing with more - Phoebe's got really fat and needs the exercise! Beatrice loves going on my computer and does all sorts of fancy stuff like file sharing, searching and surfing the web (it usually says "page not found" which is a good thing, as I'm terrified of her finding my Paypal account and taking herself and Phoebe off on expensive holidays on my credit card!) I haven't found her playing games on it, yet, though.

Thanks for your lovely comment. Yes, not long now, but our intended moving date of 27th Aug. may not work - I don't think I can cope with having Mum down the next day. Other arrangements will have to be made and my sister isn't very amenable... I could do without the stress at this juncture!

    Happy WOYWW,
