WOYWW & Challenge Win

Few things happening today around here so not much on my desk, so thought I would show you how I store some of my essential craft goodies. You have probably not taken much notice but this sits at the back of my desk.  I pulled all the draws out of it at the sides and cut cardboard to fit the shelves so that my stamps and  punches sit on something.  It started out as the picture below as just all trays and containers. Its really handy just like that to store but needed something upright that did not take up much room on my desk.  As you can see I have bought 2 but have not expanded my collection enough to use the other one yet.  I have a few inks not shown and other  punches but these ones fit really well in here.  Photos are not crash hot today, light is really dodgy, sorry but hope you get the idea.
So why am I showing stuff about my desk you wonder?  Well on Wednesday we all round up and head on over to Julia's stamping ground to have a peek at workdesks all around the world.  Its addictive and highly recommended to have a peek at all the amazing desks of people and the variety of crafts, so come on around and join in on the fun.
So here is my upright storage.....

Well how exciting that I found out today that I had a win in the I Spy sketches challenge.  It was for the owl spinner card I made for my daughters birthday more pics Here .  I was so excited to be chosen amongst all the amazing entries to be a top 2 winner.   Such lovely comments I have had on my cards I am so honoured to be chosen for the top 2.   I am having such fun doing sketches and so enjoying making my cards and trying different things.  My daughter loved the owl spinner card, I got the "that's so cute mum" approval.

It is also my pleasure to welcome as a new follower  Heather.  So hope you enjoy taking a peek around my little blog of cards.
Have a great day
Sandy :)

  1. Wow Sandy, for a minute there, till I focussed on the ink pads. I thought that was a floor to ceiling rack! Looks good though, huh, very work-able. Congrats on the win, what a lovely boost, and well deserved.
Regret nothing in the post from you..unless you're using another name that I don't know...argh!

  9. Congrats on the win! The owl spinner card is fabulous and fun and deserves to win. I like your rack! er... um... the craft rack, not to slight to slight your bosom any! What did you do with the bins that were in it? They seem like they would be useful somewhere, maybe in a drawer.

  16. Congratulations on your win! Way to go. The storage rack looks great. If only I had a designated space.... maybe I'll show my closets one of these day. I work on my dining room table so whatever medium I'm working on at the time gets dragged out of the closet. Oh, but I need that - go back to the closet -- where is that stamp cleaner -- go back to the closet....

Yesterday was my blog anniversary. If you haven't been already, pop on over and vote. I'm including something that I've made as part of the candy.

    Happy WOYWW

  21. Hi Sandy Thanks for popping by. I am really late visiting this week. Great job on the reorganising! I always feel fab when things look all neat and tidy (unfortunately it doesn't last long!!) Congratulations on your win Sandy. I love that spinning owl! What a great design. You asked about my flag nails - They are stickers - they lasted about a week but they looked cool!
