Watercolour mini book.

Recently I watched Tammy from Daisy Yellow on Periscope. I am really enjoying watching her live feeds on my IPAD. Just snippets of fun art that make me want to get my art journal out and play. The last one I watched Tammy do she made these great little watercolour tiny art books. So thought I would have a go at these too.

So then because I could and it was very relaxing I made another one in pinks and purples. Just have
to sew it up. These are made by tearing up a page of watercolour paper. Then I just painted randomly on the paper using my Grumbacher watercolour paints. It was fabulous to get the watercolours out again. They are so pretty and love the randomness of watercolour.

Have a great dayVicki-Ann :)

Wall Hanging...

Things have been busy around here this month. I have been really loving making these different styles of wall hangings. This one was fun to make and love the bright spots of colour this is adding to my walls. I have had a few people ask me to make them one.  I used my rolled music paper beads in between on the wires just to add some interest. This was made using Helmar Decoupage and Craft Paste to see all the details on how I made this head over to the Helmar Design Team page.
Everything always looks fabulous when I use my favourite colours in the DecoArt Americana range. Sea Breeze that colour just makes everything so pretty.  I just spread 5 sheets of paper over my desk and had fun with the colours. The Andy Skinner stencil in that Orange Flame colour really pops. Little swirl over the book paper circles in the centre of the flowers and then a little swipe of Gesso over the top. Adding layers makes everything pop.
Splatters to finish in black and white watered down Gesso and my papers were done. I didn't have to worry about splatters going everywhere with so many papers on my desk anyway.

Linking this up over at Paint Party Friday  Hi all will be popping around to see what you have been up to its my favourite bloggy time of the week.
