Socks...

I was browsing Pinterest when I found this Sock Pattern and thought that would be perfect for using up some of my scrap wool.. Probably thinking this as my feet were cold. So I grabbed a set of 4 knitting needles and yup I knitted a sock.
Never thought I would post a picture of my foot but think it kind of needed to be in the sock. So you could see how it stretches to fit. It was very snuggly and warm.

Gee they are quick to knit its a fabulous pattern. Thinking I might just as the lady said on the pattern, get some home spun wool to knit. That would be really soft and comfy. Think this will not be my last pair of knitted socks that I do.. These could be quite addictive, kind of like the scarfs I like knitting.

I like the stripe of burgundy and it is a good way to use up more scraps of wool. Although it looks quite red in the photo.
At least one foot is cosy.. Should have the other foot warm by tomorrow.. I am making good progress now that I am getting the hang of using 4 needles again. So that is what I am creating at the moment and having a bit of fun with a new challenge.

So day 20 of the #90daysofblogging. If you would like to pop over and see what the others joining in on this challenge are up to today..

  2. Look at you blogging every day! So much amazing creativity here, Sandy!! I had a chuckle about knitting with 4 needles since I can't even knit with my fingers like the grade school kiddos do! Your artwork and your socks, ern, sock are fabulous!! Hugs, Darnell

  4. I think your socks are very nice! I couldn't use even one knitting needle let alone four, LOL That is one thing I have never learned to do is knit or crochet. My mom did both but I just could never get the hand of it. I don't know that I have ever seen your scarves you make, would like to tho.
