WOYWW

Hi all its Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday time of the week again. Its when we all turn to Julias  stamping ground to have a peek in to see what other people are doing on there desks this week.
Well mine is busy this week been making a birthday card thingy maybe not call it a card more maybe a patchwork 3D.  Cant put it up as hubby will see so its hiding under the paper.  There is hints of what I have been doing all over the desk and still more to put on it got some hodgepodge to protect and glue it.  Some little antique brads little happy birthday sayings. The owl material is for some little gifts I am going to sew up.  When they are done I will post them up so you can see.  I am also getting ready to do some ATCs for Julias big anniversary ATC swap next week.  I had some little tags thought they would work well hmm is it ok to use tags?  Still haven't quite worked out what I'm doing but I'm sure it will come to me over the next few days.
Oh and look what is hiding there yes its come a long way to get to me here right down under in Australia.  Its my WOYWW badge how cool is that.  I feel so officially entered into the WOYWW world now thanks so much Julia.
So here is my desk.........

Whats with the log of wood on my desk well have a close look at the photos can you see whats on there, I put it on my desk so it wouldn't get burnt.  It so nearly went in the fire.  Can you see the smile? Isn't it cool and look at the side can you see the other face?

yes its the same piece of wood as I always end and post with Sandy:) isn't that just the coolest.

Have great day
Sandy :)

  7. Oh Sandy, don’t people have pet logs?
Well I just love yours and it needs to stay on your desk or nearby if you can find room because it will make you feel happy when you’re working away.

Love the little peek at hubby’s ‘card thingy’, it looks very interesting and I’m sure he’ll be thrilled with whatever it turns out to be.

Thanks for stopping by this week.

    Happy Crafting!

  10. LOL..I love the smiling log! Reminds me of when I was little, we were so broke, I got to carry around a pet brick! It never did smile but it had the cutest little blanket I made for it. :) Shame about bricks though, they aren't as fun to carry when you drop them! Anyway, I digress...
Love the cluster of bits and tornado you have going on here. Always means a sign of absolute creativity!!!!

    Hugs,
    Lisa xx

  13. That is one happy piece of wood! I wouldn't suspect magic mushrooms if I saw that log smiling at me--I'd consider it my lucky day. I like the silly face on the side as well. Thanks for sharing your smiling wood! Maybe I'll do that smiling toast next! The desk is looking like a happy place today. You can put tags on an ATC, or make your ATC tag shaped, as long as the dimensions are 2.5-inches by 3.5-inches.

  15. The woyww badge definitely makes it official .... you are a woyww'er. Tags will be fine for the atc swap just make sure they are the right size. It will be great to be involved in a world wide swap. Have a great week... raining in Sydney.

  24. What a neat log! Glad you stopped by to peek at my workspaces...you noticed my owl ribbon...I purchased it at Hobby Lobby. But I don't know if you can purchase it internationally, as they are based from the States. Maybe you'll send me an email with your address and I'll drop some in the post for you? Anyways, you have a delightfully crafty looking space and I guess I'll have to stay tuned to see what you get up to with that adorable owl fabric, huh? :)
